Tribonian   

Tribonianus (500 – 547)

Jurist working under Emperor Justinian in the Byzantine/ Eastern Roman Empire. He was in charge of the team who compiled the "Corpus juris civilis", a compendium of Roman law, and which is now even today one of the most important legal documents even written (particularly within Civil-Code countries)
