Flavius Petrus Sabbatius Iustinianus (483 – 565)

Probably the most famous Eastern-Roman-empire emperor, famous for having commissioned an extremely influential work of law (the " Corpus Juris Civilis"), which is was a compendium of all Ancient-Roman law. The jurist who actually headed the team of jurists who prepared this work was Tribonianus
